Dear Camille,
Marty and I were so touched by your story in Sunday's Birmingham News (12/5/04). Your know our family and have been to visit when you were in high school. You were at Shades Valley
with our son Terry and daughter Tammy.
We have been battling leukemia with our youngest nephew and have been through a couple bone marrow transplants and two trips to Seattle. Our prayers are with you in this season of thanksgiving and we know you will be strong and raise
Owen. We would love to see you and your family and we will stay in touch
using this message board.
All our love, The Hollingsworth Family

I've just read messages for the first time in weeks. Thanks so much for them all-- especially MM survivors. I'm praying for all of you!! The Flea Mkt was a huge success making more than $5000. The calendar is ready for layout. (more about that soon.) We leave for L.R. tomorrow for SCT #2-- Both of us are full of dread (Now we've been there; done that & know the drill.) but also of hope. We ask your prayers. I'll update soon. With love to all of you. Terry

DEar, sweet Camille,
You've always been, for the time we've known you, a beautiful young woman of extraordinary intelligence, wit and strength. For now, you concentrate on getting better, and let those who love you supply what we can to help you fight.
Always in your and your family's corner,
Melinda & Harold

Todd & Camille, I too am preparing for a SCT. Friday I will l earn if the initial chemo has worked sufficiently to proceed to the evaluation phase of preparing for a SCT. It is a very scary time but it brings about thoughts of those most precious to us, our families and friends. God sure knew what he was doing when he made them didn't he? I don't know what I would have done without them. My children (I have three) are all grown with families of their own (8 grandchildren in all) so I don't have the added responsibility of small children. I can only imagine what that must be like. However, God promises that he will never give us more than we can handle. I know the devestating details of MM but with the blessings of family, friends and God himself, we WILL make it through. Please keep us posted on your progress.

Hi Camille,
Another mm survivor of 2 transplants writing to let you know you are going to do just fine. And how fortunate that they diagnosed you early at stage Ia. Seems like you have a wonderful husband looking out for you too.
Sincerely,
Shelley in Houston

Todd & Camille,
Sending you my best wishes for a speedy and full recovery. I'm an MM survivor too, and know the demands of recovering from an SCT with small kids around (mine were 6 and 2). They are great for giving you lots of extra hugs when you're feeling a little low. About 6 weeks after mine, my 2 year old caught me without my wig on one day and said "Mummy, you need to go put your hair on!". Put everything in perspective for me.
I will be remembering you both in my prayers. Your youth, your love of each other and your strong friends and family will see you through this.
