Camille and Owen and I went to Ark. the week before Labor Day, and again the news was good. Since May, she has been on a regimen of 2 weeks on/ two weeks off chemotherapy. The "two weeks on" are hard weeks and it takes one week of the "two weeks off" for her to feel better. Still she is in Bham & with Todd which makes things better. She's growing hair and looks great. Owen is growing like a little weed. Thank's for your continued interest and prayers. We will be launching a new fund-raiser soon and will post info.

To those at HelpCamille.com,
We recently received an Evite from Elizabeth Pharo for the upcoming "Best of Birmingham" event. We want to first of all commend you on supporting such a great cause and we are very sympathetic to the family. We also want to offer up our services for any future design needs (posters, invitations, ads etc.) on a pro-bono basis. We can't make any large cash donations but we can assist and support the message behind the cause. Feel free to email us if you need anything. Once again you are in our thoughts and minds.
Sincerely,
The Guys at Toy Habit Studios

Dear Camille,
Are you my long lost childhood friend once called Lemonjello who I ate Kraft macaroni and cheese with on Friday nights in elementary school and had a german shepherd named Daisy? A friend from church sent me an email and asked if I knew you from school and sent me a link to this website. I am Dianah Ellis now but you knew me as Orangejello. I hope you are doing well upon receipt of this email. I will prayers for you and Gaia's is right around the corner from my home on 42nd Street South and so I will go and get a calendar right away. Please let me know how you are doing. You have a beautiful child so that is definitely a blessing. Anyway, just wanted to let you know you are being prayed for. with love, dianah

Camille, I dont have MM but i had aplastic anemia and had a allo transplant May 28, 2003, my brother was my donor, since my bone marrow had completly shut down i had to have a doner. My doctor is Dr. Van Rhee. I read the article in the newletter and realize that i have seen you in the clinic, up at 7A and also down in outpatient getting our blood drawn as usual. I live 50 miles away from Little Rock and I am usually down there at least once a week having test done. My community pulled together and raised money to help with my expenses also and would love to share some of the stories with you if you would like to email me. I am 39 years old, single and have a 18 year old daughter in college. The last two years has been very hard on me and my family but i have made it through so far with the help of family and friends so i would like to share some with you. So if you could please email me at rrobin1965@hotmail.com, maybe i could help out since i live very close to the hospial. i love the web site and think you have done a wonderful job and i will keep you and your family in my prayers.

Camille;
Just wanted to let you know that I believe you are at the right place for your Cancer. My wife has MM and we are very optimistic with her outcome. Her Dr. is Dr. Talamo. Jennifer was diagnosis May 2004. She has had two transplants and is doing well. No cancer has been detected since after her first transplant. We will go back the end of May (one year later) for her last consolidation treatment. Hang in there and tell your caregiver to do the same. May God be with you.

Camille, I received stem cell transplants in the year 2000. I see Dr. Tricot every six months. You are certainly in the right place for the people in Little Rock are so caring and wonderful and their dedication to finding a cure is outstanding. How lucky you are to have such great friends. I plan to buy a calendar on my next trip to Birmingham. My best to you and Todd (as you know this is a joint thing with a loving care giver). Take care and know you are remembered in prayers all over the country.

Camille and Todd, I just read about your struggle in the MIRT Myeloma Briefing. I have had myeloma since 1988 and had an autologus transplant in 1992. When I had my transplant my children were 6 and 8. With the help of wonderful friends and family the children weathered this storm very easily. Your family will be in my prayers while you recuperated from your transplant. Fondly, Mary

Camille, I read about your friends wonderful idea of raising money for your treatment against this awful disease MM. I too have MM. I was diagnosed back in March 2002 at age 39. I've gone thru a tandem autologous stem cell and am in a good place right now with the disease. I met with Dr. Tricot there in Arkansas but was treated here in Baltimore, MD which is alot closer to my home. My doctor trained in Arkansas and I know first hand what an awesome group of people they are. SO much has happened in fighting this disease in just the 3 years I've had it! Keep a positive attitude, keep the faith and remember to tell yourself you will make it out of this! There is light at the end of the tunnel! I'm living proof of it! You're in my prayers and if I can be of any help please email me! How can I get a calendar?
